Our Boliga Baskets/Shoulder Bags are all handmade by Artisans from Bolgatanga in the North of Ghana. They are woven from elephant grass and are all uniquely made with adorably intricate design patterns, vibrant hand dyed colors, incredibly flexible and durable. The leather handles are made from real goat skin.

These Baskets/Bags make easy packaging for transportation as it can be flattened and later reshaped by simply spraying/dipping it in water (protect the handle from water), reshape to the desired shape and sun or air dry. Should you receive your basket/bag slightly folded, kindly use the provided guideline to reshape.

These are handmade thus sizes and shape vary slightly from one to the other.
